Mikhail Iossel, fiction writer, writer in residence at Union College, will read at MTSU pm A[ro; 11. 2002, at 4 pm in the Hazlewood Dining Room of the James Union Building.

"Mikhail Iossel, a native of Leningrad, writes both in English and in Russian. His stories in English have appeared in many literary magazines and were anthologized in The Best American Short Stories. A collection of his stories, Every Hunter Wants to Know, was translated into several languages. He is the recipient of a number of prestigious literary awards. Mikhail Iossel has taught creative writing at the University of Minnesota, New York University, and St.Lawrence University.
