Leroy Moore to Read at MTSU

African American History Month, the Peck Fund, and Disabled Student Services will bring to MTSU Leroy Moore, African American poet, writer, and activist on issues of disability and racism. On the evening of February 13, 2001, Moore will offer a poetry reading. There will be a reception afterwards. (Additional details forthcoming.)

Moore is founder and chair of the Disability Advocates of Minorities Organization and editor of the forthcoming anthology New Voices: Disabled Poets and Artists of Color and spoken word recording Black Disabled Man with a Big Mouth & a High IQ.
