Kirsten Boatwright received her B.A. from MTSU in 2003 and completed an M.A. in Victorian literature and social consciousness in 2006. As a PhD student, Kirsten splits her time between her three cats and research on the parallels in American crime fiction and pop psychology."I believe learning is a necessary component of teaching," says Kirsten. "Regardless of whether I'll be sitting in the back or standing in the front, I expect to learn something every time I walk into a classroom."
