Jim Hamby is a third year PhD student studying 18 th and 19 th century literature. He is currently teaching a section of 1020 and is a Peer Mentor in training for Teaching Assistants. His research interests include Charles Dickens, Victorian fairy tales, American sports culture, Emma Bell Miles, and whatever else haphazardly wanders into his scattered mind.
