Entrepreneurs are the individuals responsible—through their own foresight, courage, and energy—for driving the “economic development engine” that ensures the future prosperity of our nation as well as everyone in MTSU's regional sphere of influence.
The Entrepreneurship Program at MTSU integrates professional areas from throughout the Jennings A. Jones College of Business—communication, marketing, management, economics, finance, accounting, information systems, and research.
A Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship was implemented fall 2000. An interdisciplinary undergraduate entrepreneurship minor has been available since 1996 and draws students from the colleges of Basic and Applied Sciences, Behavioral and Health Sciences, Education, Liberal Arts, and Mass Communication.
