Areas of Expertise

Plant tissue culture of plants that are difficult to propagate. My lab mostly deals with plants that have pharmaceutical importance or industrial uses. Currently we are working with American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), Grapes (Vitis aestivalis 'Norton/Cynthiana'), King of Bitters (Andrographis paniculata), and Industrial Hemp (Cannabis sativa). Also involved with the hydroponic culture of American Ginseng and Industrial Hemp.
