Biography

Lara Daniel earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee. She has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 1983. She is a professor of Business Law and has served since 2013 as the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Assurance of Learning in the Jones College of Business. Lara Daniel earned a B.S. and M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee. She has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 1983. She is a professor of Business Law and has served since 2013 as the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Assurance of Learning in the Jones College of Business. She teaches Legal Environment of Business, Real Property Law, and Legal Issues for Managers. Ms. Daniel is a member of the faculty of both the Honors College and the College of Graduate Studies. She is on the Leadership Team for MTSU's Quality Enhancement Project, MT Engage.  Her community activities include serving as a Trustee of the MTSU Foundation, President of Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary, faculty adviser to Rotaract of MTSU, Secretary of the League of Women Voters of Murfreesboro/Rutherford County, and on the board of Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.  She is a founding member of the Middle Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women.
