Biography

Dr. Lee M. Wade joined Middle Tennessee State University in Fall 2011 where he is an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Justice Administration.  Dr. Wade holds a B.S. in Criminology and Masters of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia, and he earned his doctorate in criminal justice from The University of Southern Mississippi.  He was a police officer for ten years in the state of Georgia, where he worked as a patrol supervisor, DUI task force offi...

Dr. Lee M. Wade joined Middle Tennessee State University in Fall 2011 where he is an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Justice Administration.  Dr. Wade holds a B.S. in Criminology and Masters of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia, and he earned his doctorate in criminal justice from The University of Southern Mississippi.  He was a police officer for ten years in the state of Georgia, where he worked as a patrol supervisor, DUI task force officer, investigator and in the office of professional standards.  Dr. Wade currently teaches law enforcement courses and crime scene investigations to both forensic science and criminal justice students.  His research interests involve use of force, police pursuits, police management issues, and crime scene investigation methods.
