My collection on Total Solar Eclipse images from NASA, Sean Parker Photography, Mark Zuckerberg, Astronomer Jay Pasachoff (compositing by Christian Lockwood), Star Walk 2 App, myself, Mayor McFarland, Carla Thomas, Stephanie Lough from Nashville, Aubrey Gemignani, Eric Sutton's uncle, Clemson University, Jen & Leo Benetti (MTSU Alumni), S. Habbal et al., Kevin Maxwell from Murfreesboro, That Oregon Life's Post, Scientific American and the web.    Give my sincere Thanks to all the dedicated people!

This composite image, made from seven frames, shows the International Space Station , with a crew of six onboard, as it transits the Sun at roughly five miles per second during a partial solar eclipse today near Banner, Wyoming. A total solar eclipse swept across a narrow portion of the contiguous United States from Lincoln Beach, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. A partial solar eclipse was visible across the entire North American continent along with parts of South America, Africa, and Europe. As the moon "grazes" by the Sun during a solar eclipse, the rugged lunar limb topography allows beads of sunlight to shine through in some places, and not in others.
