Vision Scholarship for Currently Enrolled Students

Scholarship Application Deadline: December 15

Vision Scholarship Application

Vision Scholarships are awarded to applicants based on academic achievement and contribution to diversity at MTSU. Currently enrolled undergraduates must have a cumulative college GPA of at least 2.5 after the Fall 2008 semester and must demonstrate their contribution to diversity to be considered. Consideration will be given to all areas of diversity that enhance the educational experience of the student body. This includes but is not limited to first generation college applicants, students from underrepresented populations, students who have overcome hardships, and students with special talents or abilities. Priority consideration is given to students who are not receiving a Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded for one academic year only; students must reapply each year to be considered. Award amounts vary, depending on available funding and the number of eligible students.

Students must submit the Vision Scholarship Application online by December 15, 2008, to be considered for a 2009-2010 scholarship. Applications will be available through ScholarX in mid-October.
