MTSU Charitable Giving Campaign
MTSU Building A Brighter Tomorrow for Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, and Beyond!!
The MTSU Employee Charitable Giving Campaign is now underway in support of a number of local charities, according to campaign chair Gloria Bonner. This year's campaign will run from October 1 – November 1. Shine the Light on Giving is our theme, and our goal is $120,000 in pledges this year. With just over 2,200 employees here at MTSU, this goal can be easily attained if each employee pledged $55 per year. That's just $4.55 per month.
We will be recognizing all defined units (such as offices, centers, departments, dean's offices, administration groups) who record 100 percent participation by all its members. Find out more from your division team captain.
Gifts may be designated to any charitable organization from a list of thirteen independent charities and three federated charitable organizations including Community Health Charities, Community Shares, and local United Ways. The payroll deduction option is provided and is a very cost effective way of making your gift. Donations pledged for calendar year 2016 will not automatically continue into the new year. Each year you are given an opportunity to change your contributions or to renew an existing one by submitting a new pledge form; therefore, you should submit a new form for the 2017 calendar year.
