GLOBAL Mission Statement

The GLOBAL student organization at MTSU offers a framework for students interested in the inter-relationships of peoples, cultures, and nations. These relationships are complex and diverse, transcend geo-political boundaries and operate at various levels- globally, nationally, regionally, locally and on the MTSU campus.GLOBAL recognizes that Middle Tennessee State University an it's student body reflect cross-sections of cultures, ideologies and viewpoints.The GLOBAL student organization at MTSU strives to develop, foster and nurture diversity and tolerance within our campus community and provide intellectual training and outlets to aid well informed, culturally tolerant, global student citizens.

GLOBAL Goals and Objectives

prepare MTSU students to make effective decisions as global citizens facilitate, induce, and nuture global perspectives in MTSU students and foster study abroad provide a forum and outlet for like-minded MTSU students participate campus-wide, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally in various GLOBAL student activities
