The new Master of Arts in International Affairs will give students the analytic, research,
and practical tools for a career in government, international and foreign policy organizations,
multinational businesses and development organizations dealing with risk analysis,
poverty alleviation, environmental organizations, human rights, homeland security,
and the military. The Department of Political Science offers the Master of Arts degree in International Affairs with concentrations in International Security and Peace Studies and International Development and Globalization and a minor in Political Science at the graduate level. To be admitted to the Master of Arts in International Affairs [International Development
& Globalization] program, a student must submit the following to the College of Graduate
Studies:
Online application and appropriate application fee
Official transcript of all colleges, universities (including business and technical schools). If the transcripts are issued from an international (non-US) institution, a course-by course analysis is required. Original non-US transcripts should be submitted directly to the evaluation service. Two letters of recommendation
