The Master of Science in Information Systems offers graduate students the chance to tailor their programs to better fulfill their personal career goals. Graduates of the program become highly qualified computer professionals with a well-rounded understanding of the business environment. This program has state-of-the-art technology and realistic, relevant courses. The Computer Information Systems (CIS) department offers the Master of Science in Information Systems with concentrations in Information Security and Assurance, IT Project Management, and General Information Systems. Core and elective classes may also be combined to form a strong foundation in database related topics. The department also offers courses for the Master of Business Administration degree and a minor in Information Systems for students seeking a master’s degree other than the M.B.A. |
To be admitted to the Master of Science in Information Systems program, a student
must submit the following to the College of Graduate Studies:
Online application and appropriate application fee
Official transcript of all colleges, universities (including business and technical schools). If the transcripts are issued from an international (non-US) institution, a course-by course analysis is required. Original non-US transcripts should be submitted directly to the evaluation service. Official Test Scores of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
A student must meet one of the following:
- GPA x 200 + GMAT = 950
- Upper Division GPA x 200 + GMAT = 1000
