- Lightning Cup 2007 -
Alpha Tau Omega was founded nationally on September 11, 1865 by Otis Allan Glazebrook, Alfred E. Marshall, and Erskine Mayo Ross. Glazebrook wrote ATO’s creed which exclaims “To bind men together in a brotherhood based upon eternal and immutable principles, with a bond as strong as right itself and as lasting as humanity...” and that’s exactly what our chapter has done from the beginning.

- President’s Cup winners -
Chris Smith, Alpha Tau Omega and Leslie Merritt, Kappa Delta
With strong emphasis on leadership and character, ATO has become a leading fraternity on the campus of MTSU since its re-charter in March of 1998. Our chapter participates in many events including our philanthropy event, Alpha Jam, which all proceeds benefit C.A.P.E., various community service projects including Blitz the Boro and Habitat for Humanity, and is also highly involved with on campus activities such as intramurals and campus beautification.

- Fall Bid Day 2007 -
Alpha Tau Omega excels academically winning past awards such as Most Outstanding Scholarship Program and Highest Active GPA. Alpha Tau Omega is also the current holder of the President’s Cup, given to the most outstanding IFC fraternity. Upon reaching our tenth anniversary, ATO has triumphed over many obstacles and will continue to succeed for years to come. Men join fraternities, leaders join Alpha Tau Omega.
