Goals: to uplift our community through outreach, cultural awareness, and to Unify the MTSU campus and the surrounding community
The MGC was founded at MTSU On September 22, 2009 by 12 dedicated and motivated members of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. The Founding members of the MGC are:
Monique Denney, Victor Salcedo, Andrea Patton, Terri McMoore, Dara Smith, Sergio Hernandez, Melina Rodriguez, Chelsee Gray, Shab Etemadi, Grace Martinez, Richard Denney, and Eric Moreno.
Executive officers and members for the MGC are:

The purpose of the MGC at MTSU shall be to act as a governing body for member organizations, to provide the university and community with information on member organizations, to work together as allies in change, to encourage responsible behavior amongst one another, and to promote unity within the community, and to promote retention of minorities in higher education.
