Since humble beginnings at the College of Charleston in 1904 to today, the student’s lamp of Pi Kappa Phi has been burning brightly, leading the fraternal world along the way. Beginning late spring semester of 2002, that shining light came to Middle Tennessee State University, and on November 7th, 2003, Pi Kappa Phi officially brought America’s Leading Fraternity to MTSU. Since that time we are fortunate to have one of the most active brotherhoods on campus. We enjoy having our brothers serve as IFC President, receive the Outstanding IFC Delegate award, receive IFC Greek Man of the Year award, serve as Order of Omega President, serve as SGA Senators, serve on the staff at Sidelines, play on various athletic and club sports teams, receive the Presidential Scholarship, create a $1500 scholarship only available to Pi Kapps funded by an annual golf tournament, and serve in countless other offices in countless other organizations. Truly we are leading at MTSU.

In 1977, Pi Kappa Phi again led the fraternal world by creating its own philanthropy, Push America, to raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. To this day we are the only fraternity to create and maintain our own national philanthropy. Pi Kappa Phi is also committed to providing its members cutting-edge leadership training to give its members an advantage in the fraternal and business worlds.

A man that deserves to wear the letters of Pi Kappa Phi is one of high moral Character, who holds his brothers to the same high accountability and realizes that Leadership is not an opportunity but an obligation. A man who knows that high Academic achievement, Sportsmanship, and a “Strong Enough to Care” commitment to Service will mold him into a True Gentlemen. Pi Kappa Phi is not interested in the stereotypical “Frat Guy,” instead we hold ourselves to a higher standard while still enjoying the social environment of Middle Tennessee State University.
