filmmaking: pre-production, production, and
post-production. Students will be taught all aspects of
camera, lighting and grip equipment, sound equipment and editing
software.
Students will learn:
the process of brainstorming to come up with their final story
to write the script
to line the script
to breakdown the script
to schedule the shoot
to find actors and location
to shoot the
film
Each student will fulfill a crucial crew position on the set
and using the same protocol as is conducted in Hollywood
studios. Student projects will include Self-portrait,
Process, and a 5-10 minute Narrative Short as the final
project which will be submitted to the Nashville Film
Festival.
