Registration Holds

An MTSU student may receive a hold that prevents him or her from registering for classes from Student Health Services.

The following information details the reasons that a registration hold may be given as well as the steps that should be taken by the student to have the hold released:

  1. The student has an unpaid balance from Student Health Services. This hold will be released when the student pays his or her the balance in full.
  2. The entering student, born after 1956, has not furnished proof of measles immunity or immunization. This is only necessary if you are attending full-time. This hold will be released when the student completes the immunization requirements outlined on the MMR Immunization page.
