Welcome

We are currently out of flu shots.  We will post when we receive more.

Health Services is conveniently located in the newly renovated Health, Wellness, and Recreation Center. The full time professional staff consists of three board-certified physicians; two certified physician assistants, two certified nurse practitioners and six RNs, all of whom maintain certification in either ACLS or BCLS. A prepaid student health fee covers the cost of basic office visits. There may be additional charges for other professional services such as laboratory tests, medications, injections, suturings, and EKGs. Payment of these fees is expected at the time of service and may be paid by cash, check, American Express, MasterCard or Visa.

Health Service Hours
The Health Services Building is open Monday-Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am - 4:00pm during fall and spring semesters. During summer and semester breaks open Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, and closed during university holidays. When Health Services is closed, local hospital emergency rooms and some walk-in centers are available.

Need Us After We Have Closed?
An after hours telephone advice nurse is available by calling 615-898-2988 and following the prompts. Experienced advice nurses can help you figure out the best course of action: do you need immediate medical care, an appointment the next day, or will self-care help you? You may be asked for your Student ID number (your M number) in order to use this service.

Important Note: This new after-hours service is for those who are sick. If you have a routine or minor health concern or question, you should continue to call us during the day or leave a message to be answered tomorrow.

Emergency Care
If you experience a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911.
