The Association of Graduate Students in History
The Association of Graduate Students in History (AGSH) at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) was founded in 1995 to promote social and educational opportunities among the graduate students in the history department. Since its founding, the AGSH has grown in numbers and participation every year.

The purpose of the Association of Graduate Students in History is four-fold:

  1. to serve as a forum for graduate students in history at MTSU
  2. to promote and develop a graduate student community
  3. to provide a liaison between the history department and its students
  4. to promote and foster increased dialogue between history department faculty and graduate students.
