Fulbright Speaking Event

THERE ARE SEVERAL FULBRIGHT EVENTS. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE KAITLEN HOWELL EVENT, PLEASE SEE THE BOTTOM OF THIS WEB PAGE FOR OTHER OPTIONS.

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to learn more about the Fulbright Program for U.S. Students on Tuesday, November 13 at 3:00 pm in the Honors College, Room 106.

Classes are welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public.

Kaitlen Howell will be talking about her Fulbright experiences in Germany and how students can apply for the Fulbright to this and other countries.

The purpose of the Fulbright is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the U.S. and other countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. The grants are designed to give U.S. students the opportunity to live and study in a foreign country for one academic year. Students from other countries also study in the United States.

Full Grants provide round-trip transportation, language or orientation course, tuition, books, health and accident insurance, and maintenance for one academic year in one country. Travel Grants provide transportation to one of a limited group of countries.
