To apply or reapply for residence halls, on-campus apartments and family student living, complete the Residential Life Application or Reapplication and License Agreement and return it with the required prepayment fees ($300 for the academic year and $175 for summer) to MTSU Housing and Residential Life, Middle Tennessee State University, Post Office Box 6, Murfreesboro, TN 37132. Students who are not currently living on campus should complete the application form. Students currently living on campus who wish to return to campus housing for the upcoming year will complete the reapplication form.
Or complete the
on-line
application/reapplication
where, for your convenience, you can pay your housing
fees with a credit card or on-line check.
To submit a reapplication, the applicant must be a student currently assigned within the residence hall system. While there is no final application date for new applicants, current residents submitting a reapplication form must do so prior to the reapplication deadline of Friday February 10, 2012. After this date, current residents will lose their priority status and will be assigned to available remaining spaces as though they are a new applicant.
Housing assignment priorities are based on the date of application and prepayment of applicable fees. Due to the demand for on-campus housing and limited amount of space available, the University is unable to guarantee housing for all students. Early applications are strongly encouraged. A completed application, signed by the student, indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in the Housing License Agreement. Please be aware that the agreement is for the full academic year, including both fall and spring semesters and that assignment to a specific building and type of room cannot be guaranteed. Student agrees to accept accommodations assigned, including overflow housing for single students or to cancel and accept prepayment forfeiture as outlined in the license agreement.
