On-Campus Housing - Beasley & Sims
Centrally located near the middle of campus, Beasley and Sims Halls provide easy access to cafeterias, classrooms, the campus post office and movie theatre, and laundry facilities.
The newly renovated Cyber Café, featuring Burger King, Starbucks Coffee, a convenience store, a sandwich shop, and comfortable seating with multiple televisions and computer accessibility, is conveniently located adjacent to Beasley and Sims Halls.
A typical double room in either Beasley or Sims Halls includes:
two twin beds- two chests
- two desks
- two chairs two closets
- lighted mirrors over the chests
- phone jack
- basic cable
- internet connections
A limited number of private rooms may be available in Sims Hall. Typical furnishings for private rooms located on the 2nd, 1st or basement floors will include just one twin bed, one desk, and one chair. The third floor of Sims may include both double and additional private rooms, as needed; therefore, all third floor rooms will have the full complement of furniture.
Many services for Beasley and Sims residents are centrally located in Smith Hall which houses the 24-hour reception desk where staff assist with student and visitor information, package delivery, and guest registration. The Smith lobby has a color television, pool table and comfortable lounge furniture. Also located just off the Smith lobby is a computer lab. A free standing laundry building with 16 washers and dryers is located outside Beasley Hall.
