Research Interests:

Dr. Poirier has more than 15 years experience in public sectors in culturally diverse and international environments. She has been recognized for her ability to build community partnerships, identifying appropriate resources and educational strategies, and creatively evaluating the learning outcomes. Prior to coming to MTSU she taught 3 years at the Zayed University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Poirier has been awarded a TN Leadership Grant to work on development of dual-credit online courses for post secondary programs.
