
B.R.O.S.I.S. Mentoring (Be Really Outstanding Stay In School)
The Office of Intercultural and Diversity Affairs offers a mentoring program that
focuses on the first-year college student. In the B.R.O.S.I.S.program, each freshman
is assigned a mentor who is a friend and source of encouragement and information.
Mentors are experienced students who give information on college life, courses, and
campus resources. Mentors are trained and responsible for acclimating their assigned
students to MTSU. Participants are expected to commit to the purpose of the program
and meet regularly with their mentors to review academic progress and personal adjustment.

Role Modeling & Leadership
