Beverly Keel

Beverly Keel is senior vice president of artist and media relations for Universal Music Group Nashville. She was previously a recording industry professor at MTSU, where she also served as director of the Seigenthaler Chair of Excellence in First Amendment Studies.

Before joining UMG Nashville, she was also a nationally recognized music journalist who has covered Nashville news for more than 15 years. She served as a Nashville correspondent for People magazine for a decade and was also entertainment editor of American Profile and celebrity columnist at the Tennessean. She has written for such magazines as InStyle, New York, USA Today and Entertainment Weekly. A former music industry columnist for the Nashville Scene and Nashville Banner newspapers, her journalism has received awards from the Associated Press and the Association of American Newsweeklies. Ronnie Steine
Metro Councilman-at-Large
Nashville, Tennessee

Ronnie Steine was re-elected Metro Councilman-at-Large in 2011, following his election to that seat in 2007. He previously served as Councilman-at-Large from 1991 to 1999. He was elected Nashville's fifth Vice Mayor in 1999 and served until his resignation in 2002. He is the former co-owner of Sailair Travel, Inc.

On the Council, Steine serves on the Budget & Finance, Education, and Convention, Tourism and Public Entertainment Facilities Committees. He was Chair of Budget and Finance for 2009-10. He also serves on the Metro Greenways Commission, the Leadership Council of the Nashville Afterschool Zone Alliance, and the Metro Audit Committee. Steine recently served Mayor Karl Dean as Co-Chair of his Blue-Ribbon Task Force to create a Child and Youth Master Plan, which was presented to the Mayor in May of 2010.
