Welcome to the future.
The Center for Innovation in Media is the most progressive enhancement to the College
of Mass Communication since the Bragg Building opened in 1991. It offers students
a real world experience as web, print and broadcast journalists; public relations
and marketing professionals; and other varied communication careers. Taking a story
to the multiple platforms of radio, television, print, and the internet - all the
ways we receive our news and information today - is the state of the art in information
gathering, writing, and reporting.
Before construction began, our Cornerstone Donors joined us in helping obtain the
resources for building and maintaining the Center. They subscribed to the Center's
mission of providing MTSU students with the best possible education to compete in
the digital information age. To support the Center for Innovation in Media is an
investment in not only the higher education of students, but also in a valued element
of our daily lives. The news, entertainment, and information we search for every
day is the end product of the craft of communication professionals - the same people
who at one time also sought the education and training that is needed to expertly
tell stories and provide information.
The Center for Innovation in Media offers College of Mass Communication alumni and
friends a unique opportunity for naming recognition. We would welcome the opportunity
to discuss how you can be a part of the Center, invest in the lives of future communication
professionals, and impact the MTSU College of Mass Communication.
