Our mission is to ensure all international students enrolled at MTSU, along with their spouses, who come from around the globe have the best experience possible while studying in the United States.
International Student Services strives
- to create an environment conducive for a smooth transition to the American educational system by developing programming that enriches the international students’ academic, social, and cultural experiences in a new and unfamiliar setting; and
- to provide various opportunities for interaction with the American citizenry so the students would have exposure to the American culture become more proficient with the English language, as well as to impart their own cultural information to those with whom they interact, which in turn enhances global peace and understanding.
