1. Find an item that you want to scan.
2. Place the item face down on flat bed scanner surface.
3. On the toolbar, go to the File and click Scan Picture. The Scan work pane appears.
   
   
   
   
4. Under Method, select Automatic scan.
   
   
   
   Note:   For some scanners, you won't see Method options. If this is the case, skip to step 5.
   
5. Select any other options you want. Click Scan.
   
   

Note: Not all flatbed scanners support the Automatic Scan feature. If you have difficulty using this feature, you can scan using the Your scanner software feature.
