Spring and Summer 1998

Currently, ITD: Instructional Technology staff members continuously update a web page that features MTSU faculty members who have received Information Technology time release grants. This Faculty Showcase will include profiles on the faculty members and their reactions to having received the grant and the projects that they designed.

In addition to the Faculty Showcase web page, the ITD: Instructional Technology staff has been working to overhaul the old ITD page and create a new one (archived). The focus of ITD: Instructional Technology has been on designing a new ITD logo.

ITD Instructional Technology has completed a project directed at assessing faculty reactions to the multimedia support that we offer here at MTSU. The results of the faculty survey have been compiled and are reported at the MTSU Faculty IT Survey site.

Greg Southard has finished up work on the "Instruments of the Orchestra" project that was started during the spring semester. We hope to evaluate the project with faculty this fall and with students in the spring.

Although Al Roeder was not officially an intern last semester he worked with Dr. Gale Clark to refine the Instrument Analysis animation sequence.
