Communication Support Services


For most members of the MTSU community, the first initial contact with the Information Technology Division (ITD) is through a member of Communication Support Services (CSS). 

The CSS team is responsible for many front line services of ITD such as the 24/7 Information Technology Help Desk; physical distribution of BlueID cards and the functionality of the ID system and usability of ID equipment across campus; publications geared to faculty, staff, and students on the how to’s and usage of information technology at MTSU; and the administration of University software site licenses.
