
Steve Prichard - Director, Telephone Systems
As director of the department, Steve has overall responsibility for the voice communication
services on campus. Steve has been employed by MTSU since 1985 and held positions
in the Business Office before transferring to Telecommunication Services in 1994.
David J. Senior - Assistant Director, Telephone Systems
David is the lead technical administrator for the Avaya S8710 communication system
and directs the installation, operation, configuration, programming, maintenance,
repair, planning, design, and monitoring of the communication systems, network, and
equipment including traditional service and VoIP.
Ronda J. Vaughter - Assistant Director, Account Services
Ronda's responsibilities include managing the MySoft Telemanagement System, department
and student billing, department accounting, and campus operator directory.
Emily Harper - Voice Mail Coordinator
Emily administers the campus voice mail system for faculty, staff, and students.
Other responsibilities include wireless telephone services, speech recognition directory,
pay phones, and training.
Eric Miller - Telecommunications Technician III
Eric assists the Assistant Director, Telephone Systems with the installation, operation,
configuration, programming, maintenance, repair, planning, design, and monitoring
of the communication systems, network, and equipment including traditional service
and VoIP.
Jeremy Simmons - Telecommunications Technician III
Jeremy assists the Assistant Director, Telephone Systems with the installation, operation,
configuration, programming, maintenance, repair, planning, design, and monitoring
of the communication systems, network, and equipment including traditional service
and VoIP.
Sue Alexander - Switchboard Operator
Sue provides operator assistance for calls to the main campus switchboard. Callers
receive information or are transferred to an individual or a department.
Lisa Lynch - Departmental Secretary
Lisa answers the main phone line, 898-2991, and takes trouble tickets, helps with
record keeping, helps pay departmental bills, and assists with other accounting tasks.
