Adult Learning Conference: Hotel Accommodations

Doubletree Hotel photo The Doubletree Hotel in Murfreesboro is our conference hotel. Single rooms are $77.00; doubles are $97.00, plus all necessary taxes. Make your reservation by January 25, 2013, to guarantee your room at the conference rate. Make your reservations here or call the Doubletree Hotel at 1-888-488-3587. Tell them you are with the Adult Learning Conference at MTSU to receive the special conference rate.

The Doubletree Hotel Murfreesboro is located at 1850 Old Fort Parkway, just off I-24, 30 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee, only minutes away from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). While in town, you can shop, dine and stroll at "The Avenue Murfreesboro" on Medical Center Parkway or walk over to the newly expanded Stones River Mall for fashion and fun.

Transportation Information

25 Parking spaces to be reserved Feb. 14th & 15th starting at 7a.m. – 9 a.m. in the Orchard Parking Lot, parking lot north of the New Student Union Building.  Please see the Campus Map and Parking Map for details.

MTSU Shuttle Bus will also be available to take participants’ to and from the Double Tree hotel. The departure times to and from the hotel are listed below.

  • February 14, 2013 – Departure from Double Tree Hotel @ 7:20 a.m.
  • February 14, 2013 – Departure from the Adult Learning Conference @ 4:30 p.m.
  • February 15, 2013 – Departure from Double Tree Hotel @ 7:20 a.m.
  • February 15, 2013 – Departure from the Adult Learning Conference @ 12 p.m.
