Adult Learning Conference
Middle Tennessee State University in partnership with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission with support from the Lumina Foundation sponsors the Adult Learning Conference. The focus of the conferences is the importance of adult learners and how to provide Tennessee colleges and universities with resources to improve the success of adult learners at their institutions. Interdisciplinary Conference in Women's Studies
In alternate years MTSU sponsors a major academic conference in the field of Women's Studies. It features prominent keynote speakers, participatory "break-out" sessions, and traditional academic papers from a variety of disciplines grouped around a theme of "Women and Power." The MTSU Women's Studies Conference solicits national participation from scholars in all academic fields who are engaged in research on women in order to make the conference an important contribution to the field of Women's Studies.
