Legal Clinics ~ See Our Flyer

With support of the Rutherford-Cannon County Bar Association, the JAC holds free, monthly, legal clinics for ALL MTSU members. The Legal Clinic will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Student Union Building (3rd Floor) Suite 330. Space is limited and by appointment only. Call 898-5812 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Nontraditional Student Success Series

Student Success Series Workshops are an excellent way to increase your knowledge about a wide variety of topics and assist you in your studies at MTSU. The workshops are offered each semester and are available to Adult Learners & ALL students. Workshop presenters include faculty, staff, and members of the community who bring a wealth of knowledge about academic and student life issues.

Older Wiser Learners (OWLS) Student Organization

Older Wiser Learner (OWLS) mission is to serve as an advocate for the non-traditional student community of Middle Tennessee State University by addressing their issues, needs, and concerns. OWLS provide an environment for networking among peers, academic support, social outlet, and a place to find student resources.

Networking Social

The Nontraditional Networking Social is designed to provide our Nontraditional Students with the opportunity to network and meet other Adult Learners and MTSU’s leaders.

National Nontraditional Student Week

Middle Tennessee State University shows support and recognition of our adult students during National Non-traditional Student Week. National Non-Traditional Student week is held the first week of November and we plan to celebrate our students with a variety of activities.

  The June Anderson Center is kicking off Nontraditional Student Week with free t-shirts for the first 100 students.

  Scholarship and Financial Aid – Lunch and Learn
  Financial Aid and Scholarships for Nontraditional Students – Bill Riggs is conducting a lunch and learn to talk with Nontraditional Students about financial aid.

  Pinnacle Honor Society Induction
  The Pinnacle Honor Society recognizes Nontraditional Students for academic excellence.

  Tuesday Nontraditional Student Week Dinner
  The annual Nontraditional Student Week dinner is designed to celebrate the accomplishments of our students. It is free and open to the public. However, we have limited seating.

  Nontraditional Networking Social (Meet & Greet)
  The Nontraditional Networking Social is designed to provide our Nontraditional Students with the opportunity to network and meet MTSU’s leaders. The special guest for this event is Dr. Debra Sells, Vice President of Student Affairs.
