Volunteers

Volunteers are an essential part of the June Anderson Women's Center. Volunteers are dedicated, caring, active, dynamic and creative. They help the JAWC accomplish a wide variety of tasks and services. You can gain volunteer experience that will benefit the center, you and the community. We have volunteer positions that are fun, educational and enriching. Volunteers are needed in a variety of different capacities throughout the academic year.

If you are interested in making a difference, the JAWC would be a great place for you. Please contact us for more information about volunteer opportunities at the center and in the community.

"You will find as you look back upon your life, that the moments that stand out are the moments when you have done things for others."
-- Anonymous

"I was taught that the world had a lot of problems; that I could struggle and change them; that intellectual and material gifts brought the privilege and responsibility of sharing with others less fortunate; and that service is the rent each of us pays for living the very purpose of life and not something you do in your spare time or after you have reached your personal goals."
-- Marian Wright Edelman
