Welcome!  We have revamped our site to make it easier for you and to enable us to provide some new and improved services.  Please feel free to give us feed back and let us know how we can better serve you.

We have a several new programs that we would like you to know about. 

  • Our Adult Degree Completion Program continues to grow as hundreds have found it to be a more convenient way to get their bachelor’s degree.
  • The Master of Professional Studies degree program is getting a great deal of interest.  It can be completed completely online, on campus, or in any combination.
  • Our Professional Development area has introduced a new registration system and online course catalog to make it easier to find the courses that fit your development needs.
  • We have implemented a low volume newsletter to keep you informed about events and activities of interest to you.  You can manage your own account and opt out at any time.

Upcoming College Courses and Events

  • Tennessee Business Tax Seminar - The MTSU College of Continuing Education and Distance Learning, in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Revenue, will offer a Tennessee Business Tax Seminar.  Presentations will be made by representatives from the TN Department of Revenue, the TN Department of labor and Workforce Development, and the TN Comptroller of the Treasury.  Click here for more information. 
  • CSI:MTSU -- A Unique Summer Youth Camp  MTSU is introducing the CSI experience on campus. CSI:MTSU is a three day program designed for students entering the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in Rutherford and surrounding counties.  Click here for more information. (0610)
  • The Writer’s Loft is a creative writing program that matches each student with a supportive, attentive mentor with whom they will exchange packets of creative writing throughout the semester.  Because the program does not require weekly class attendance, it is ideal for busy adult learners, whether they are engaged in a career, absorbed with raising children or simply live too far from campus. The Loft focuses on developing the student’s skills, style, and voice in a supportive, open environment in which each writer's gifts can be nurtured.   • Due to high demand, we are opening registration for the EMT-IV ProgramThis 213-hour course provides training for emergency calls to give care and stabilization to the critically ill and injured. Emphasis is placed on care at the scene and during transportation to a medical facility, IV maintenance, EOA, and epinephrine modules. In-depth study will also be done on patient assessment and shock physiology with fluid, intravenous therapy, and D50W administration as its focus. Actual experiences will be provided and clinical and lab times are required in addition to class time.   For more information click the link below: (0630)
