Adult Degree Completion Program

The Adult Degree Completion Program is designed for the working adult who needs to finish a degree to get ahead in his or her career.

Accomplishing anything worthwhile involves time, energy, and effort but the results are worth it. Statistics show that the average bachelors degree holder earns nearly $237,000 more over their career than those with just a high school diploma. According to the US Census Bureau the average bachelor degree holder earns about $24,000 more per year than the average person with only a high school diploma. Also, on average, a bachelor degree is worth $15,000 more per year over an associate's degree.

Besides the extra income potential, many of our students choose to complete their degree simply for the satisfaction of accomplishing a major goal in life.

The Adult Degree Completion Program is customized for you to fit your particular needs and interests.

If you have always wanted to finish a college degree, the MTSU Adult Degree Completion Program can help you achieve your goal. As a student in the Adult Degree Completion Program you can:

  • finish your bachelors degree online or in a traditional classroom, and

  • use transfer credit from accredited community colleges and other post secondary schools, and

  • use any military credits or earn credit for certifications, continuing education courses and other training, and

  • earn additional hours from CLEP, challenge exams, or an assessment of your prior learning.

The College of Continuing Education and Distance Learning offers several Bachelor of Science degrees at the undergraduate level within the Regents Online Degree program and the Bachelors of University Studies degree.
