Teaching English as a Second Language Specialist in Education (Ed. S.) Degree
A Graduate Program with a Specialization in ESL

Every year, more students whose first language is not English are enrolling in public schools. To meet these students’ needs and those of the school districts where they are enrolled, the MTSU College of Education and Behavioral Science offers an Ed. S. degree with a specialization in English as a Second Language.

This program of study addresses the main areas of proficiency for teachers of English as a Second Language.
