Instruction Hybrid classes are taught by MTSU faculty and instructors. MTSU Online classes are taught by MTSU faculty and instructors. RODP courses are part of a state-wide consortium of all the TBR community colleges and universities. So, a RODP course may be taught by an instructor at University of Memphis, Columbia State Community College, or another TBR school. This is a seamless process for the student, though. A student will only know which institution the instructor is teaching from if the instructor offers the information.
Course numbering Hybrid courses use the same rubric and numbering system as traditional MTSU classes. MTSU Online courses use the same rubric and numbering system as traditional MTSU classes. Some of the RODP course numbers may differ from MTSU numbers. Because of this, it is very important for a student to check with his or her college advisor before enrolling in any RODP course to verify that the course meets his or her particular degree requirements. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure RODP classes meet degree requirements. The RODP to MTSU Course Equivalency Chart may assist a student in determining if a RODP class is equivalent to the MTSU course number.
Fees Hybrid courses cost the same as traditional MTSU courses, plus a distance education fee.
