Starting Your Class

  • Bookstores - www.mtsu.edu/~phillips and rodp.bkstr.com (for RODP textbooks) - Get all your textbooks through MTSU’s Phillips Bookstore. (Do not purchase your RODP books through the Phillips Bookstore website; use the Virtual Bookstore or come in person to Phillips.) 
  • Class Meetings - Check your "Detailed Schedule" in RaiderNet to find out if your MTSU online or correspondence class has any mandatory meetings. Proctored exams that can be rescheduled are announced in your course materials. Off-campus and videoconferencing classes meet on a weekly basis.
  • DL Tutor - Need to know how to start your distance learning class? Check out this tutorial.
  • Distance Learning Librarian - All distance learning students have access to the Distance Learning Librarian. She is there to help you with your library research, borrow books without traveling to campus, and assist you with the online catalog and full-text electronic databases.
