Hello, my name is Kaylene Gebert, and I want to welcome you to Middle Tennessee State University and our distance learning program. Distance learning classes are a convenient way to assist you in pursuing your educational goals, and I congratulate you on your decision to let MTSU play a part in that endeavor.
Although busy lifestyles and hectic schedules make taking courses via distance learning extremely appealing, please know that distance learning courses are as demanding as traditional, on-campus classes, and require the ability to manage time wisely and to stay on task. Please let me assure you, however, that MTSU offers many support services to assist you—many of which are described in more detail on this CD.
