A $1,000 fee is paid for revisions to existing RODP courses (undergraduate and graduate) every three years. A Revision Agreement, or contract, may be requested by emailing cladams@mtsu.edu.

Additionally, the RODP provides a Course Improvement Plan Form which allows the course developer the opportunity to continually improve the effectiveness of his/her course by indicating the changes which should be made to improve the course, student performance, and instructor effectiveness. The form and the course designer’s improvement plan should be discussed with the department chair or dean and with MTSU’s RODP Curriculum Committee representative before submitting online.

Special Notes

• Compensation cannot be paid if the course revisions are completed prior to contract approval.
• Deadlines for completion of course materials are as follows:
  • November 1 - Spring Semester courses;
  • April 1 - Summer Semester courses;
  • July 1 - Fall Semester courses.
