As more students choose to take classes in an online environment, the need for additional, qualified instructors trained to teach in this modality increases dramatically. Many instructors prefer teaching in this environment for a variety of reasons:
- the flexibility that online instruction provides;
- access to a wider demographic range of students;
- the change of pace teaching online, in conjunction with traditional courses, provides.
Teaching online requires some new skill sets, so this resource is provided as an aid for MTSU distance educators as they pursue their online endeavors.
