Congratulations to Dr. Barbara Young, Department of Educational Leadership, who was honored at ITD’s 2009 ShareFair as the recipient of the 2010 Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology Award. Barbara is a Certified Online Instructor, serves as a Faculty Peer Assistant, and has developed courses for five online graduate programs offered by her department.

“Nominees are recognized for their use of innovative strategies (interactive and cooperative learning) combined with the use of technology to support higher education.” Sponsored this year by the College of Liberal Arts, Dr. Young wins a trip to the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning at which she will be recognized and considered for the Ernest L. Boyer International Award for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology.
