RODP Authorization

IMPORTANT: Do not use this form to request an override for the Spring 2010 semester after January 20, 2010.

Once this form is submitted, your override should be entered within 2 working days. Having an override does not hold a spot in a course; you must still register for the course.

Please read this form carefully. If anything is unclear, please call our office at 615-898-5611. Be sure to print a copy of this form for your records.

Advisement
It is very important for you to check with your college advisor before enrolling in any RODP course to verify that the course meets your particular degree requirements. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure RODP classes meet degree requirements.

RODP to MTSU Course Equivalency Chart
This chart will be helpful if you are an on-campus student and are enrolled in an RODP course. Some RODP courses are numbered differently than MTSU courses. This chart may assist you in determining if your RODP class is equivalent to an MTSU on-campus course.

Important Fee Information
It is important for you to be aware that the cost for RODP classes is higher than on-campus courses. Regents Online Degree Program (RODP) courses are charged per hour and viewed separately from MTSU courses so as not to mix with the full-time cap applicable to MTSU courses in the fall and spring terms. RODP fees are computed in addition to any MTSU course fees and do not apply to the full-time maximum for MTSU registration fees.

Example for 2009-2010 academic year (instate student):
12 hours of undergraduate non-RODP courses $2,994
3 hour RODP undergraduate course additional $801
Total $3,795

Note: RODP courses do not exchange evenly with other courses when students drop/add on or after the first day of the semester.

See fee information at this link: http://frank.mtsu.edu/~bursarmt/forms/rodp.pdf

Fee payment deadlines www.mtsu.edu/~bursarmt/imdates.html
You must pay fees by the deadline or your courses will be purged, and you will not have access to your RODP courses.

Books
You should order your books online for RODP courses through the Virtual Bookstore, rodp.bkstr.com. Books required for RODP courses are also available for purchase at Phillips Bookstore on campus. Ask an employee for assistance as the books will not be on the shelves.

To Log Onto Class
Students do not access RODP courses through Pipeline. Students must log in at http://elearn.rodp.org. to get course materials and emails from instructor. Students should log in the first day of class. See Instructions on how to login.
