The Career and Technical Education Grant is an agreement between the Tennessee Department of Education, Career and Technical Education Division and MTSU. Tennessee Department of Education
The Education Content Knowledge Institute held at MTSU provides ongoing continuing education and professional development training to K-12 teachers in a variety of disciplines. The purpose is to provide them with content that will translate into a higher quality education for their students. learn more
Tennessee Dual Enrollment
The Dual Enrollment Grant enables 11th and 12th grade students to earn college credit while they are still in high school. Students can earn as much as 12 hours credit through this program. learn more
Tennessee Department of Health
This training program is a result of the Sudden Unexplained Child Death Act, which has mandated emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and law enforcement officers receive training on handling cases of sudden, unexplained infant death as part of their basic and continuing education requirements. The training program was developed by Middle Tennessee State University in consultation with the Tennessee Department of Health, the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, and the Tennessee Medical Examiner’s office. learn more
