Goals

1. Majors in the college of Liberal Arts will successfully persist to graduation.
2. Majors in the College of Liberal Arts will indicate they receive effective instruction that contributes to their knowledge, skills, and personal development.
3. Majors in the College of Liberal Arts will receive effective academic advising.
4. Programs in the College of Liberal Arts will reflect a commitment to equity, diversity, and difference.
5. Students and faculty in the College of Liberal Arts will expand participation in service learning and experiential learning programs.
6. Students and faculty in the College of Liberal Arts will regularly participate in study abroad activities.
7. Departments in the College of Liberal Arts will expand current academic programs and develop new academic programs, as appropriate.
8. Departments in the College of Liberal Arts will have sufficient staff to cover enrollments, especially in General Education.
9. Faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts will have access to adequate facilities and equipment for teaching, learning, and research/creative activity.
10. Faculty and students in the College of Liberal Arts will engage in scholarly activity consistent with department expectations and program level.
11. Departments in the College of Liberal Arts will continue to strengthen departmental, college, and community partnerships.
12. Faculty in the College of Liberal Arts will provide professional service to the university, their profession, and the public.
