Sharing Innovative Teaching Practices

Since 2003, the Information Technology Division and the Learning, Teaching, and innovative Technologies Center have jointly sponsored ShareFair, an instructional exhibit showcasing the innovative learning methodologies of MTSU faculty. ShareFair takes place all day in Peck Hall 106, with different exhibitors for the 10-noon and 1-3pm sessions.

2009 Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching Learning, and Technology

This year, the College of Basic and Applied Sciences is sponsoring the innovative teaching award, which includes paying the recipient's travel expenses to the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning. A complete description of this award can be found on the TLTR web site, listed on the left menu.

The recipient of this year's award will be announced at a 2:00 pm ceremony during ShareFair.

Congratulations, Maria Clayton, recipient of the 2009 Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, & Technology.

Maria's innovative use of technology in her department, her commitment to sharing her expertise by publishing and presenting, makes her exceptionally worthy for this award.

In April, Maria will attend the International Conference of College Teaching and Learning, in Jacksonville, Florida, where she'll be recognized in a special ceremony and also considered for the Ernest L. Boyer International Award for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology.
